Gammatech India Private Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kanam Latex Industries Private Limited. Kanam Latex Industries Private Limited is India’s leading manufacturer of surgical and examination gloves. Established in 1986, Kanam has eight fully automated plants manufacturing over 360 million pairs of gloves per year. Kanam manufactures and exports a wide range of high-quality surgical gloves, including sterile powdered and powder-free gloves, as well as examination gloves and other specialty gloves.
Kanam’s gloves are widely recognized as high-quality products that meet the highest standards in the industry, and are market leaders in India. In addition to this, Kanam exports its gloves worldwide to countries like U.S.A., South America, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Poland, Greece, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Africa, The Middle East and South East Asia. Kanam Latex Industries consistently wins recognition from the Indian Government for its export contributions.
Kanam Latex Industries Private Limited is part of the Ooppoottil Group of companies. Located in the Southern States of Kerala and Tamil Nadu in India, the Ooppoottil group ventured into the field of rubber plantations in 1945 with the setting up of the Velimalai Rubber Co.Ltd. In 1966, the group ventured into the field of latex processing by setting up Kurian Abraham Private Limited. Today, the brand name KA Latex is synonymous with high-quality centrifuged latex.
Subsequently, the group ventured into manufacturing Technically Specified Rubber (ISNR) and by 1984 were already manufacturing surgical and examination gloves. More recently, the group has ventured into the manufacture of high-grade lattices and bespoke compounds for the rubber industry.
Today, the Ooppoottil group is a well-known and trusted name in the rubber industry.
